MM IT Consulting begin life as a Sole Trader business known as Mauler Multimedia Consulting in July 2005. This sole trader business was established by Mr. Warrick Pike, MM IT Consulting's Managing Director, in order to deliver contract professional services to a previous employer who lacked the internal skills required for a particular customer engagement that Warrick had architected while still under their employment.
The contracting opportunity was the implementation of systems for a large well known homewares retailer opening a new store in Adelaide, South Australia. This work was the first professional services delivered by what became MM IT Consulting (WA) Pty Ltd in July 2007.
From this first opportunity Warrick recognised there was an opening in the Perth market for a vendor agnostic professional services focused business delivering quality work to both hardware reseller partners and direct to customers where possible.
Warrick’s aim was to build a professional services company that would allow private and government mid to enterprise size businesses access to a wealth of skills developed from his 25+ years' experience in the Perth IT Industry. Since these early beginnings, MM IT Consulting has gone on to develop a large portfolio of hardware reseller partnerships and direct customer relationships.
An important part of the mission statement created for MM IT Consulting was to provide job opportunities to like minded people who had strong experience in a broad range of IT disciplines. The aim was to become the employer that Warrick had always sought after. This has allowed MM IT Consulting to attract resources with the required skill sets that has earned them the reputation of consultants that get it done the right way!
